High Feed Milling

I am using TaeguTec BLMP1205r cutters( 50mm & 33mm dia cutters ) at the moment and require some more inserts ,
I just seen the PENTA HIGH FEED cutters & are interested to see how they would compare in performance & $

Hi Garry,
The Penta High Feed normally works out at the better value for money (extra edge on the insert and a lower list price) based on the UK prices.
Performance wise they are certainly comparable but of course the details of speed and feed achievable is very much application specific depending on material, machine power and the actual work-piece geometry.
If you are interested to try the Penta High Feed I would suggest you locate your closest Safety Tooling agent and ask for a cutting trial to be arranged.
Obviously we would love to send one of our guys to see you but I don’t think we could afford the commute.
thanks for the reply , do you have the TaeguTec BLMP1205r inserts ?I am looking for 60 off them .
I would like to try the Safety Tool HF cutter in a 50mm dia , I can see some advantages over the BLMP Inserts in the type of work that we are using them for .
I don’t know of anyone selling these in Australia .
I buy most of my tooling from outside Australia
I also resell some tooling to a number of people in my local area
